The Guyana Amazon Warriors get their home 2015 Hero CPL campaign under way on Wednesday with the visit of the 'World Boss' Chris Gayle and his Jamaica Tallawahs side.
The Warriors are 5th in the 6-team table at the moment, but they have at least two games in hand on all the teams above them in the table, including the Tallawahs, who are 4th after four wins and four defeats from their 8 matches.
Denesh Ramdin's side, who were runners-up in the first two Caribbean Premier League tournaments, started slowly in 2015 with defeats in three of their first four games, but they have bounced back brilliantly with two fine wins, including an 84-run demolition of the Tallawahs in Jamaica on Sunday.

Having won two in a row to create some momentum on their own patch at Sabina Park, the Tallawahs lost their last two home games against the Barbados Tridents and then the Warriors, to leave their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages in a precarious position.
Gayle is the competition's top run-scorer with 373, also has its highest score (105) and has hit 11 more sixes than his nearest rival in the race to smash the most maximums - an incredible 27 so far.
But they need more runs from the likes of Chadwick Walton, Chris Lynn and Mahela Jayawardena if they are to challenge, something they will need to put right on Wednesday.
It all kicks off in Providence at 6pm local time, the first of four home matches Ramdin and his boys will play over the course of the next few days.
