The Caribbean Premier League has agreed a deal with the St. Kitts and Nevis Government that will see Warner Park hosting all six neutral CPL games for the 2015 tournament. Following on from the huge success of the CPL matches held in St. Kitts and Nevis at the Warner Park Stadium last year, the Government and CPL management have signed a deal that will see the historic venue once again playing host to six neutral games as part of CPL 2015. Warner Park Stadium is not only located on one of the most beautiful islands this side of the Caribbean, but also boasts top-class facilities. Last year, Warner Park Stadium became the focus of cricket fans from around the world. CPL's unique blend of entertainment saw the CPL finals played alongside a spectacular performance from Grammy award-winning American artist, Rick Ross. All the games saw the stadium filled to capacity as fans came out in their droves to watch the best cricket the region has to offer. St. Kitts and Nevis' Minister of Sports, the Hon. Glenn Phillip, said: "CPL delivers huge benefits to the Federation with US$26 million injected into the economy during last year's hosting of CPL, and 65 million fans from around the world tuning in to enjoy the exciting matches. There is no doubt that the people of St. Kitts and Nevis were treated to a fantastic week of entertainment both on and off the pitch. "As such, we see the hosting of the neutral games, alongside having our new team, as a massive opportunity for St. Kitts and Nevis, and we are delighted to be welcoming all of the CPL teams to the Warner Park Stadium once again." CPL CEO, Damien O'Donohoe, added: "We are hugely proud to be announcing this deal which will see CPL build on its great fan-base in St. Kitts and Nevis. The hospitality shown there has been nothing short of sensational and the St. Kitts and Nevis Government have again shown great commitment and faith in the tournament by agreeing to host the neutral games at Warner Park Stadium this year. "Their commitment reinforces our drive to make CPL one of the most successful cricket tournaments in the world. The staff of Warner Park Stadium did an impeccable job in taking care of the grounds last year, ensuring that exceptional cricket was on display - further cementing its position as a premier location to host not only CPL games, but international matches as well," continued O'Donohoe.
