Wayne Dillon Parnell
An aggressive left-handed seamer and a handy lower order batsman, Wayne Parnell came into the limelight when he led South African Under-19 to the finals of the World Cup in 2008, finishing the tournament as its highest wicket taker. After a successful Test debut he was spotted by the Delhi franchise in the 2010 edition of the IPL, but a groin injury meant he could not participate in the tournament that year. He was part of the South African World T20 squad in 2014, and played one game for South Africa in the 2015 World Cup, but was left out of the following World T20 in 2016. In the same season he performed consistently for Cobras with the ball, and he has even opened the batting for them in recent times. Last CPL, his first season at the Caribbean, he picked seven wickets with an average of 23.6.
