St Kitts & Nevis Patriots

Nicknamed the Professor, owing to his strict batting technique, Mohammad Hafeez has truck loads of talent with both bat and ball. As a batsman he was pushed up the order to take the attack to the bowlers, at the same time he could also anchor the innings with his text-book defense. Even though he made his debut as early as 2003, his talent did not fully reveal itself until 2011. That year he scored five centuries in Tests and ODIs put together. He had quickly accumulated over 1000 runs and also over 30 wickets in ODIs for that calendar year, a feat only Sanath Jayasurya and Kallis had achieved before him. He played for the Guyana Amazon Warriors for two seasons in 2013 and 2014. He would be making a come-back of sorts in the Caribbean Premier League playing for the Patriots and would be hoping he can carry the confidence that he got winning this year’s Champions Trophy into the Caribbean Premier League.
