Kane Williamson

Age:
27 years
Team:
Tridents
DOB:
8th August 1990

A Test century on debut against India at the age of 20 made the world wake up to the next big prospect in world cricket. By 24, Kane Williamson had achieved 3,000 test runs, the fastest Kiwi to the mark. He took over the role of captain for the World T20 2016 after the retirement of the swashbuckling New Zealand batsman Brendon McCullum. He guided New Zealand to the top of the group, upsetting India in their opening game of the tournament and finishing over the hosts in the group. Leading the Kiwi’s in the 2017 Champions Trophy, Kane Williamson scored two fifties and a century, averaging a whooping 81.33 in three innings
