A hitter like no other, Dwayne Smith has been in the game for a long time. He was part of the West Indies squad that played in 2007 World Cup at home, and he even participated in the latest edition in 2015 in Australia & New Zealand. Smith is a much-sought after batsman in the world of T20s. In the international arena he has been part of both West Indies squads that won the World T20 in 2012 and 2016, in the latter series he even opened the innings every game. As far as domestic leagues are concerned, he has played in champion sides. He has been part of the IPL and Champions Trophy winning Mumbai Indians side in 2013, later he went on to play for Chennai Super Kings, and also Gujarat Lions for whom he played the last IPL. Smith also won the PSL title for Islamabad, scoring a half-century in the final of the 2016 edition of the tournament. This season, he is determined to win the title for Barbados Tridents after being transferred from Guyana Amazon Warriors after the 2016 season. Smith has scored two centuries in CPL, both coming in the 2014 edition.
